Day 1 transfer to Rwenzori mtn. park headquarters.
Arriving at the international airport, you will be picked up by our guide who will get you to proceed to the foothills of mountain Rwenzori national park.

Day 2-9 mountaineering to the top of Rwenzori's snow capped peaks
- Margherita peak is Africa’s third highest peak with the Rwenzoris having 5 of its peaks among Africa’s 10 highest peaks. The real beauty is in the climb up the Kilembe route, the montane forests, waterfalls, rivers, valleys; the flora is diverse with trees and valleys of ferns. The trees are alive with many species of birds (Rwenzori region & Albertine rift endemics) and primates (black & white colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, blue monkeys etc.).
- As you walk up the trail you will see chimp nests high up in the tall trees, if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the resident chimpanzees as they scamper away. Climbing Margherita peak is more of a hard scramble than a climb except for a few difficult sections. The highest Margherita peak is 5,109 m along with other 5 peaks like Mtn. Baker, Mtn. Speke, Mtn. Stanly, which are snow capped throughout the year.

2 days in Uganda’s most popular wilderness will be a relaxing and chilling experience after a long 8 day hiking experience up the Rwenzori. You’ll continue having sceneries of the Rwenzori ranges while in the park, cross the 0° equator landmark, enjoy boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which harbors more than 5,000 hippo pods, lions, elephant & buffalo herds, antelopes, primates, lodges and crater lakes.

Day 12 transfer to Kampala & preparation for departure
Concluding with the 12 days mountain Rwenzori hiking & wild safari experience, you will head back to Kampala to your preferred hotel/ lodge and continue relaxing as you wait for your departure flights.
