Detailed private & luxury gorilla trekking experience package
Day 1 Arrival at Entebbe airport & city tour
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will picked up by our guide and head to your reserved hotel for a brief rest. You will thereafter head out for a Kampala city tour and a night life experience.

Accommodation: Lake Victoria Serena hotel, golf resort & spa (or a similar one)
Early in the morning, you will set off from Kajjansi airfield and fly for 1 hour & 10 minutes to Kihihi airstrip which is on the outskirts of Queen Elizabeth national park. Reaching Kihihi, you will have a game drive in the Ishasha sector eyeing out for the tree climbing lions- a rare type of lion species along with other wild game. Later in the evening, you will head out to Bwindi Impenetrable Gorillas Park to prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking activity.

Gorilla trekking is when you go up into the thick tropical forests to track mountain gorillas with expert guides. Very early in the morning around 5:30 am, you will wake to prepare for the gorilla trekking safari that sets off as early as 7:00 am after a briefing. Hiking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest can take between 30 minutes up to 3 hours before you meet your assigned gorilla family that depend on the movements of the gorilla family and where it sleeps/ nets in the night. Following mountain gorilla trekking, you will head out of the park back to your reserved lodge at Queen Elizabeth N.P for some rest.

Continuing with the bespoke gorilla trekking safari, you will also head out to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise. This river has the highest concentration of hippo pods in the world with over 5,000 of them living here. The Kazinga channel river also attracts all sorts of birds & animals in the park that come to quench their thirst. After the Kazinga channel boat cruise, you will head out on a game drive to see all the different animals like elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes among other living in the park along sceneries of the snow capped Rwenzori Mountains.

Day 5 Fly from Kasese back to Kajjansi then depart
On this last day of the safari, you will board a domestic flight from Kasese airstrip back to Kajjansi for 1 hour & 10 minutes before heading to Entebbe airport for departure
