- Day 2-3; mountain Rwenzori park trekking & hiking

- Day 7; mountain gorillas trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable N.P

Detailed Rwenzori mountaineering, gorilla trekking & wild game safari
Day 1; transfer to Rwenzori mountain park vicinity
On arriving at the airport, you will be taken to your preferred hotel/ lodge for a rest where you will embark from to head to the foothills of mountain Rwenzori from whence you will head to mountain Rwenzori national park headquarters.

Accommodation: Snow heights lodge (or a similar one)
- The first day of hiking, you’ll set off with your porters & guides from Nyakalengija to Nyabitaba (2,650m high) after the morning breakfast covering a distance of 1,600m from the mountain Rwenzori national park headquarters. The trail will take you through Bakonjo homesteads and farmlands continuing with a trail near Mubuku River from where you will again cross river Mahoma before continually climbing through a montane forest to reach Nyabitaba hut. Dinner and overnight stay at Nyabitaba hut.
- The second day will see you trek to John Matte Hut (3,350m) after your breakfast. You will set off from Nyabitaba hut through a small trail, descending down to Kurt Shafer Bridge just before the junction of Rivers Bujuku and Mubuku. You will then cross into a bamboo region where the trail is slippery and moss-topped and there after continue with a returning descent to back to the park headquarters where you will have a brief rest before heading to your lodge.

Getting into the first day’s wilderness of the park, you will get to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise and later head out to enjoy sightings at herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, hippo pods, leopards, hyenas, antelopes, 660 plus bird species, lodges, mountain Rwenzori sightings, Equator crossing landmark. The next day, you will head to the southern part of the park in the Ishasha sector which uniquely known for its rear species of tree climbing lions.

Day 6; chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu forest
This day will see you head deep into the Kalinzu forests which harbors more than 300 chimpanzee individuals which guarantees 99% chances of viewing, photography and filming of chimpanzee characters, behavior, families and movements. The forest is also home to various forest bird species.

You will head deep into the impenetrable forest which harbors more than half of the world’s remaining endangered mountain gorillas.
