Day 1 transfer to lake Mburo after arrival
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you’ll picked up by our guide who will lead you to your booked hotel/ lodge for relaxation before heading out to lake Mburo national park.

A walking tours ( with more options of horseback riding tour/ cycling tour) game drives in Lake Mburo national park is one of the best ways to set off with an Africa safari experience. The park has the highest number of zebras in Uganda along with giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes and other herbivores animals. The park has only leopards of the wild big cats thus being so friendly to walking tours in the park. In the afternoon you will set off for Bwindi impenetrable gorillas’ national park.

Harboring more than 50% of the world’s remaining population of mountain gorilla species, trekking up through Bwindi impenetrable guarantees 99% chances of meeting the gentle giants. Gorilla trekking is not just a tour/ trek but an awesome experience worth a lifetime memory. The park also harbors colobus monkeys, reptiles and has up 350 recorded bird species.

Accommodation: Ishasha wilderness camp lodge (or a similar)
A tour of the vast Queen Elizabeth national park on this safari will start from the Ishasha sector which commonly known for its rare tree climbing lions. You’ll then go deep in the various parts of the park to enjoy elephant & buffalo herds, leopards, antelopes, giraffes, hyenas, large hippo pods while on a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel among others vistas. The park lies at the equator and you’ll cross the equator land mark as you also enjoy sightings of the Rwenzori peaks and ranges.

- On the first day after breakfast, you will set off for your first Rwenzori trekking by the Nyakalengija trial which covers distance of 1,600 m. The trail will take you through Bakonjo homes and farmlands following the Mubuku river trail from where you will again cross river Mahoma before trekking through the montane forest to reach Nyabitaba hut at 2,650 m above sea level where you will spend the first night.
- The second day will see you trek through a small trail down to Kurt Shafer Bridge just before the junction of rivers Bujuku and Mubuku. You’ll progress from the forest zone into a bamboo region where the trail is slippery and moss-topped. A massive lobelia groundsel vegetation and heather appears before the Nyamileju rock shelter before crossing a swamp to the John Matte hut at 3,350 m where you’ll have dinner and spend the second night too.
- On the last trekking day, after your morning breakfast, you will start trek a trail smashing down to cross the Bujuku River and arrive at Inferior Bigo Swamp, home of massive lobelias. You’ll then cross the swamp to the Higher Bigo swamp before proceeding to Lake Bujuku at 3,900 m where sightings of the uppermost mountain Stanley in the west are best viewed and thereafter proceed back to the park gate to wind your trekking adventure.

Also known as the primates’ capital of the world, Kibale national park has the highest number of chimpanzees in the world with, more than 1,500 individuals guarantying 100% chances of chimpanzee sightings. Kibale forest also harbors other primate species such as the red colobus monkeys and black & white colobus monkeys along with numerous bird species of up 250 recorded forest endemics. Kibale national park unfolds great sceneries for you on this 12 days Rwenzori trekking, chimpanzees, gorillas & wildlife safari. After the forest walk you will later drive out towards Murchison falls national park.

These 2 days will be one of the most unforgettable days in your life and amazing wild phenomena in the wild savannah grassland. Murchison Park has the highest number of Rothschild’s giraffes with over 1,500 individuals. Murchison national park is anchored by the river Nile which has the world’s strongest waterfalls- the Murchison waterfalls. You will enjoy boat cruise on the river Nile, hike to the top of the Murchison waterfalls, more than 350 recorded bird species, lodges, game drives & sceneries.

You will have another beautiful day on this 12 day Uganda tour for a walking safari in Ziwa rhino sanctuary. The sanctuary has multiplied from 6 rhinos to 50 rhinos in their conservation efforts. Ziwa rhino sanctuary also has antelopes, shoebills and swamp & riverine bird species, primates, warthogs among others.
