Arrival and departure: Kigali

Day 1- pick up from Kigali to Bwindi and back for departure

Detailed itinerary:

Destination: Bwindi impenetrable national park

On arrival at the Kigali international airport, you’ll be picked by our guide who will drive you through one of Africa’s cleanest cities and the land of a thousand hills covered with green tropical and montane vegetation of more than 200 tree species and home to more than 250 bird species. You will then enter Uganda and go to either Mgahinga or Bwindi impenetrable national parks that are home to the world’s highest population of mountain gorillas almost more than half of them are found in these Ugandan national parks. After a briefing about the gorillas and their ways of life, the trekking exercise will take between 30 to one hour 2500 meters above sea level before you get to the gorilla family that you were assigned and will be allowed to stay around the group for an hour. There after you will return to the headquarters and drive back to the airport for departure.
