Detailed Gorilla trekking in Uganda itinerary
On arrival to Kigali international airport you will be picked up by our guide to your hotel. You will have a rest and after that embark on a city tour around Kigali and its wonderful views, recreation parks and their activities, art and crafts shops, night life among others after which you’ll spend a night in Kigali. Later you will head to Uganda across the border to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.

After briefing early in the morning on the gorilla behaviors, livelihoods and you how to handle their characters in your presence. The trek into the tropical montane forests will last between 45 minutes to 1 hour before meeting the gorilla family you are assigned to and you will be allowed to follow and spend an hour with that gorilla family. After the trek you will pass via lake Bunyonyi for lunch; Africa’s deepest crater lakes having 29 islands on it remarkably the most beautiful lake in Africa. Bird watching, wild life, canoeing and scene watching are all available for your leisure at this site. After such a great experience of this mountainous region, you will leave for Kigali for departure.
