Detailed itinerary:
Day 1
Destination: Kampala city tour & night life
You will arrive at Entebbe international airport and be picked up by our guide who will be holding a pluck card having your name and will get you to your booked accommodation on either the shores of Lake Victoria or in the heart of the city Kampala for some rest. After a 1-2-hour rest, you will embark on a city tour around Kampala hills learning about the history of the country’s administration city and many of its status monuments and ancient history; the Buganda kingdom, its strongholds in this city and its importance to Uganda, religion and its strongholds and history, business strongholds and markets, street foods and fruits and the ways of life of Ugandans. Later on in the evening, you will have an experience of the city’s night life then after have rest till the next day. This day’s itinerary to some extent depends on your time arrival at the airport.

Day 2
Destination: source of the Nile
This day you will embark on a 2-hour journey to Jinja (commonly known as the adventure capital of East Africa) where the source of the river Nile is located as it finds way out of Lake Victoria (Africa’s largest lake). This point has numerous water falls that have become common water sport points to tourists and adventurers from all corners of the world. Some of the falls include Owen falls, Bujagali falls, Ripon falls, Itanda falls, Busowoko falls among others. The clean and white waters of the River Nile at this point are the most entertaining of the river course throughout Africa offering the best bungee jumping point, water rafting, horse riding at the river banks, water surfing, swimming, canoeing, river boarding, quad biking around the river banks among others. The river banks also host numerous bird species that can be experienced on nature walks thus being some of the best birders’ destinations in the region.

Day 3
Destination: rhino tracking
On this day early in the morning, you will set off on a 4-hour journey to get to Zziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking experience. The drive right from source of the Nile will amaze you with all green vegetation ranging from thick forests and their high canopies, swamps, bushes that hold numerous bird species that contribute part of more than 650 bird species found in Uganda, reptiles and much more other wild life. There you will be able to experience how Ugandans get by their daily duties in market places and various towns. Zziwa rhino sanctuary has more than 40 white southern rhinos, rothschild’s giraffes, kobs, leopards, swamps with papyrus endemics, African wild cats, warthogs, reptiles among other species. the sanctuary not having big predators, allows you to easily make nature walks to come to nearby engagement with the park’s wild game.

Day 4
Destination: Murchison game drive
On this day you will wake up very early in the morning and embark on a wildlife game drive before the sunrise in the vast savannah grasslands of Uganda’s largest national park. This tour will get you some of Africa’s most unique wild game right from Africa’s big 5; lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, Nubian & rothschild’s giraffes, warthogs, baboons, vervet monkeys, water birds, sun birds, raptors, scavengers, hippos, wild dogs, kobs, kudus, antelopes, water bucks, hyenas, sitatungas, hartebeests, jackals, reptiles among others. The park has three quarters of the world’s total population of rothschild’s giraffes on the planet. This day will see you get to different routes of the park in the morning and also in the evening time. You could also opt for an air balloon safari as part of the morning drive.
Day 5
Destination: delta and falls boat cruises
In addition to driving around the park, this day will be partly spent on the waters of the river Nile and its banks. in the morning after your breakfast, you will shortly drive to the delta side of the rive Nile for a boat ride. This rich experience will get you to see a lot of water birds like the shoebill, water ducks, egyptian geese, the king fisher, raptors, large numbers of Nile crocodiles some of which are also the largest in the world; they are also the deepest ground barrowers of the crocodile families, hippos, buffaloes, reptiles and numerous other fauna that quench their thirst at the banks of the river Nile. You will take on this same experience in the evening boat cruise though this time around with an exceptional naturel phenomenon; the Murchison falls which are also the park’s centerpiece and worldly known as the strongest water falls on the planet.

Day 6
Destination: top of the falls and chimpanzee tracking
Early in the morning after having your breakfast, you will head out for a trek to the top of the Murchison falls to give you the best view of the strongest water falls in action and the aftermath of its rage of the white mist, signature rainbow a thunderous and rumbling sound as the water hits the floor of the river Nile. Later you will head to the Kaniyo Pabidi forest for chimpanzee tracking and nature walk that will sum up your day.

Day 7
Destination: Kampala & Entebbe int. airport
This being the last day of your trip, your drive will be heading to Kampala a journey that will give you the best last memories of the pearl of Africa, replaying the activities selectively on your back to Kampala such as the ever smiling and welcoming people, numerous bird species, wild game, market places and the economic activities of the locals.
